I am equal parts
Animal Communicator, Holistic Dog Trainer, Body Worker and Cellular Energy Healer.
If Dr. Doolittle, Iyanla Van Zant and Joe Camp(Benji’s Trainer) all had a love child it would be me.
For over 26 I have been observing the effects of unrecognized body discomfort on dog behaviors.
Years after my experience with Barney and about 5 years into my dog training career I began doing a simple assessment of my dog clients backs.
What I realized changed the way I see and work with behavior issues forever!
I made a ground-breaking discovery that the root of most behavior issues is unrecognized discomfort or tension in their body.
Over my career I have observed a very high percentage of the behavioral issues I am called in to work with such as: aggression, anxiety, fear, over-exuberance, lunging and ADD type behaviors have a direct relationship with unrecognized discomfort and structural compensation in the body.
After professionally assessing hundreds of dogs and pups of all different ages, breeds, temperaments and behaviors I began to see that many challenging behaviors are a result of the body being out of sync and no one is really discussing this critical Missing Link or teaching others how to assess for it.
The more I observed this I began seeing that if a dog or puppy is experiencing unrecognized discomfort or tension in their body they often cannot help their behaviors due to a disruption in the energy flowing through their body.
What I have also observed is that one of the key components that is missing from about 98% of training evaluations is an awareness and knowledge of how much the body can be the root cause of many behavior issues.
When we have not been educated to see the subtle nuances of the body as a crucial component in the evaluation and assessment intake of behaviors we are doing dogs a disservice.
